A body kit is big, fragile and built for one car. Our policy is written so that if something goes wrong on the way to you, you get your parts, not a paperwork battle.

Shipping damage, handled

Report it right. We replace it.Highly recommended on every order

Body kits are large and fragile, and damage in transit does happen. That's why we highly recommend Premium Shipping Protection. Add it at checkout for 3% of the item's value. If your parts arrive damaged and you follow the steps below, we send a replacement. No questions asked, no chasing the carrier, no waiting weeks on an insurance claim.

The rule is simple. Protection added + steps followed = a replacement part, guaranteed. No protection = transit damage isn't covered by us. We'd rather tell you this clearly now than leave you guessing after delivery.

How you report it depends on how your order ships:

Covered with Premium Shipping Protection

  • Damage during transit
  • Damage found at the time of delivery
  • Packages lost in transit

Not covered

  • Orders without Premium Shipping ProtectionFor in-stock items, any credit depends on the carrier's insurance claim.
  • Lost after deliveryFor example: nobody was home, no one signed, it was left outside, or it went to the wrong address.
  • Damage reported late, or found after the carrier marks it delivered
  • Received by someone who didn't inspect itFor example: a body shop or a front desk signed for it without checking. Shipping to one of our approved installers? You're covered, see below.

Shipping to an approved installer? Still covered. When we ship your parts straight to one of our approved installers, the shop knows our inspection steps and checks the delivery for you. Damage they report the way described above is covered by Premium Shipping Protection, exactly as if you had signed for it yourself.

Once a package is delivered, it is your responsibility, so please keep it somewhere secure. Damage or missing parts not identified at delivery, including anything that happens at a shop during storage or installation, can't be claimed with us. Please take it up with the shop.

Approved installers

Skip the shop hunt. Drive in, get it fitted.

Not every shop can fit a body kit well. Skill levels vary a lot from shop to shop, and many simply don't have the experience. A rushed or inexperienced install can leave uneven gaps, poor alignment and a finish that never looks right. That's why we've built a network of approved installers who have worked with our kits. Buy from us, call or email us, and we'll recommend an approved installer near you and ship your parts straight to their shop. You drive in, and the install begins.

No calling around for a shop willing to take on a body kit, no explaining how the parts fit, no hauling crates home first.

Fitment & finish

Body kits should be fitted by a professional body shop. Aftermarket body parts commonly need minor adjustment and preparation during fitting. That is normal and not a defect.

If a part doesn't fit, contact us before trimming or modifying it. Send photos of the issue and of the car, and we'll work out the next step with you.

Fiberglass reinforced plastic parts can show small surface marks from the resin. These are part of the material and are smoothed out by the body shop when the part is prepped for paint.

03

Returns

Most of our kits are made for one specific car, so please check your model, generation and year against the product page before you order. Not sure? Ask us first. We'd rather confirm fitment than process a return.

FAQ

Can you help me find a shop to install my body kit?

Yes. Install quality varies a lot from shop to shop, so we've built a network of approved installers who have worked with our kits. Call or email us and we'll recommend one near you. We ship your parts straight to their shop so you can drive in and get it installed, and with Premium Shipping Protection the delivery is still covered.

Should I add Premium Shipping Protection?

Yes, we highly recommend it. Body kits are large and fragile. For 3% of the item's value, damage in transit is covered: report it as described above and we send a replacement part. Without it, transit damage isn't covered by us.

What happens if my body kit arrives damaged?

If you added Premium Shipping Protection and reported the damage as described above, we send you a replacement part. No questions asked. You don't have to wait on a carrier insurance claim.

How long do I have to report shipping damage?

For parcels shipped by UPS, FedEx or USPS, contact us within 24 hours of delivery. For large items shipped by freight, inspect the shipment and note any damage before you sign for it.

Can I return a body kit I no longer want?

Yes, for in-stock and pre-order items on US orders. You have 15 days from delivery to return it uninstalled and in the original packaging. Custom items, such as forged, matte and honeycomb carbon parts, can't be returned.

How do pre-orders work?

Out-of-stock parts in fiberglass reinforced plastic or gloss woven carbon fiber can be pre-ordered with a 20% deposit. About 4 to 6 weeks before your order is expected to ship, we send you the invoice for the balance. You have about 3 weeks to pay, and it must be paid in full at least 7 days before shipping, or your slot goes to the next customer in line. Cancel before it ships and you pay only the transaction fee.

Do I get a refund or store credit?

Your choice. A refund goes back to your original payment method, minus a 20% restocking fee, original and return shipping, and a transaction fee: 5.2% for card, PayPal, Apple Pay and other card payments, or 10% for financing (Affirm, Shop Pay Installments, Katapult). Choose store credit instead and the transaction fee is 0%; the restocking fee and shipping still apply.

What if you send the wrong part?

We send the correct part. Please return the incorrect one to us.

What if a part doesn't fit my car?

Contact us before trimming or modifying it, with photos of the issue and of the car, and we'll work out the next step with you.
